    3. Moxie Comes in as The Best American Restaurant

    Moxie has been labelled by the Connecticut Magazine as the Best American restaurant. And, given Shoreline Times Food Writer, Robert Rabine’s description we can see why. Rabine goes on to tell Connecticut Magazine that Moxie has, in so many words, gone from good to great, with the roasted marrow bones with cherry capote taking the stage. Rabine goes on to not only complement the food but that great bartenders.

    So, take Rabine’s word and order the roasted marrow bones along with some a Moscow mule or two (of course, if you do not drink alcohol, please don’t feel like you have to).

    Come in and visit Moxie when you want to experience traditional American cuisine. That or you want to stop by and grab a drink with a coworker or two during the lunch hour or after work.

    4. Luc’s Is The Best French Restaurant

    Luc’s is known as “my French bistro love,” comments Alica Ghio, Local Food Rocks founder and writer. According to Ghio, guests have to order the mussels, steak frite, and cassoulet. Other than the food, the ambiance is not to miss out on.

    Ambrosia, considered the best middle eastern/Mediterranean restaurants, has a homey vibe. AS Jenna Kijowski and Jessica Bishop describe it to Connecticut Magazine as a little restaurant with a nice staff, crepes that are made at your table, and to die for Greek ice coffee.

    When you want to experience a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Ambrosia is the place for you to bring a friend and/or partner for a quiet and drawn out conversation over some Greek ice coffee and a crepe or two.
