    Must-Visit New Restaurants

You’ve had the chance to sample tons of delectable tapas at the Barcelona Wine Bar. You’ve enjoyed charred octopus and Yellowfin Tuna at Mediterraneo. Now, you want to try something new, but you’re not quite sure what you’re in the mood for!

Lucky for you, there are plenty of must-visit restaurants near your home at The Waypointe that opened just within the past year. You’re surrounded by good eating, and it’s all in this awesome Norwalk neighborhood! Here are three promising new restaurants you’ll want to check out around The Waypointe:

Washington Prime | 141 Washington Street

Their “About Us” section says, “It’s not about us, it’s about you! We look forward to hosting you in our restaurant” - how’s that for hospitality? Save room for their perfectly-cooked USDA Prime Steaks (hence the name), and snack on something from their “Small Plates” menu. Washington Prime has everything from calimari to croquettes; something for everyone.

Get there: Washington Prime is a 4-minute drive, an 11-minute bus ride (take the 9 off West Avenue), or - if you’re feeling ambitious - a 21-minute stroll from The Waypointe.

    The Spread | 70 N Main St

Sick of trendy brussels sprouts yet? Of course you're not. Mom would say to eat your greens. Our recommendation? Get on over to The Spread and nosh on some of their delicious blackened feta honey brussels sprouts. Balance that out with some black truffle risotto balls (yum!) and yes, beef tongue. It’s one of the most popular items on the menu!

Get there: Drive for 3 minutes, take the 9 bus 10 minutes, or walk for about 16 minutes. It’s up to you - but we recommend the walk down West Avenue.

    Oriental Beef | 73 N Main Street

Make your own sushi! Need we say more? Start off with classic Parkora - crispy spinach fritters with chutney - if you feel inclined. Then, create your own sushi rolls with over 25 fresh ingredients. (It’s like the Chipotle of Asian food restaurants!)

Get there: Oriental Beef is right across the street from The Spread. Again, you could drive for 3 minutes, take the 9 bus 10 minutes, or just walk down West Avenue for 16 minutes.

If you’re going out to dinner most places around The Waypointe, you’re going to want to make reservations - especially on a weekend night. Hey, and if you find you just can’t leave your apartment (we don’t blame you, with amenities like these, you can always order in! We won’t tell.
