Westport Farmers Market
The mission of Westport Farmers Market is to “create and maintain a regional hub where real farmers connect with real customers over real food.” Every Saturday from 10am to 2am they strive to reach this goal by hosting vendors such as The Local Catch who provide local and sustainable seafood around the year. Other vendors usually include Doc’s Maple Syrup, Sankow’s Beaver Brook Farm, and Izzy B Desserts. The Westport Farmers Market is reachable through a quick 7 minute drive up the Connecticut Turnpike from The Waypointe.

New Canaan Farmers Market
Although the summer hours for the New Canaan Farmers Market don’t start until May 17th, it is certainly a farmers market worth exploring once it opens! Their vendors change seasonally, so their summer offerings haven’t been finalized. But if their past vendors are anything to go on, we should be in for a Summer full of delicious eats like Whistle Stop Bakery, which has been serving fresh-baked pies using only the finest local ingredients since 1982. Located in the Old Center School Parking Lot, the New Canaan farmers market operates from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays in the heart of New Canaan, only 10 minutes away from The Waypointe.
