Easy Holiday Shopping Norwalk
November 24, 2015
As the holidays approach and stores blast holiday tunes 24/7, it’s easy to get stressed out.
Endless gift shopping, wrapping, and holiday parties can leave you feeling wiped out. But this year, when you live at The Waypointe, you can enjoy a virtually stress-free holiday! Today, we’re tackling holiday shopping in Norwalk--the easy way.
Read on for your best holiday shopping options close to home this year.
Shop in SoNo
There are so many places to shop in SoNo, it’s hard to choose just one! Luckily, they’re all pretty close to each other, and you can probably hit up a good number of them in one afternoon.
If you’re crafty, head to Beadworks (139 Washington St., Norwalk, CT) and pick up some gorgeous stones and beads to create necklaces, earrings, and rings for your friends and family.
At A Taste of Holland (83 Washington St., Norwalk, CT), you’ll discover delicious dutch treats and beautiful souvenirs. Have you tasted a Stroopwafel? You shouldn’t leave without a package of those delicious mini waffles with caramel filling for yourself, too.

Shop the SoNo Bazaar
It’s time for one of our favorite holiday events--the SoNo Bazaar!
At 1 North Water Street, directly across from the IMAX Theater, you’ll discover a winter wonderland full of artisanal organic skin care lines, handcrafted goodies to cook with, high-quality maple syrup, and soft merino wool ponchos. There is so much to discover, you’ll want to return every weekend!
This event opens Friday, November 27 (3 - 9 pm), and extends every Thursday and Friday (3 - 9 pm) and Saturday and Sunday (10 am - 7 pm) until December 23. Follow their Facebook page for updates.
Shop around The Waypointe
We’ve written about The Waypointe District’s amazing retail options right downstairs, and we’ll say it again--this is the perfect opportunity to get out and take advantage of the holiday shopping right around you!
Wander up and down the street in either direction, and you’ll find Gap, Gap Kids, Lacrosse Unlimited of Norwalk (for the LAX athletes in your life).
So there you have it--you should be able to breeze through your holiday lists in no time this year. And at the end of the day, reward yourself with a visit to one of our favorite restaurants in The Waypointe District, right downstairs. It’s the perfect way to unwind.
