    Discover the Connecticut Beer Trail

Though Connecticut is famed for it's wine country, it is also home to the lesser known CT Beer Trail. Comprised of over twenty breweries, as well as beer bars and brew pubs, it's time to discover the CT Beer Trail! With great beer spots spanning Connecticut from Hartford to Norwalk, Waypointe residents are perfectly situated to appreciate CT beer--whether on a day trip, weekend getaway, or just a short drive from home.

    Norwalk's Best Beer Bar

For Waypointe residents looking to explore all the offerings of the beer trail, there is no better place to start than Norwalk's own Ginger Man. Located in South Norwalk, The Ginger Man is a New American restaurant and beer bar; it features over fifty draughts and 80+ bottles, including (among others) Connecticut local beers. With such a huge selection, choosing can feel totally overwhelming but the knowledgeable staff is happy to help you choose what beer will pair perfectly with their popular Short Rib Sliders or Clam Chowder.

    CT Beer Week

This year CT Beer Trail is organizing a second week to celebrate Connecticut's burgeoning beer scene this year from October 13, 2014 through October 18, 2014. Among the events is the Harvest Bounty Wine & Brew Fest in Litchfield, CT. Located at the Litchfield Community Center on October 18 (2pm through 6pm), the Harvest Bounty Wine & Brew Fest will play host to over two dozen breweries, including Saranac, Green Flash, Black Hog, Charter Oak, as well as several CT Beer Trail breweries.

Visit CT Beer Trail for more information about local breweries, membership, and upcoming Connecticut beer-related events.
