If you haven’t decided yet, we’re here to help. Whether you enjoy the spookier side of the holiday or are looking for family-friendly events, you won’t have to go far from your luxury apartment in Fairfield County. Norwalk is full of fun Halloween events.

You may have been to historic sites in Norwalk before, but you’ve never seen them like this! The suggestions below are for those of us who love to be scared--and are preferably over 8 years old. Gather a group of friends for a super fun night of Halloween fun.
A Haunting at Mill Hill
WHERE: Mill Hill Historic Park (2 East Wall Street, Norwalk, CT)
WHEN: October 23 & 24, 2015, every half hour, 6:00 - 9:30 PM
COST: $13 Adult (before 10/22)
Haven’t you always wanted to meet all of Norwalk’s famous ghosts? Why, of course you have. Join other Norwalk residents and visitors on a lantern tour that will put a chill down your spine and kick off the holiday. BYO flashlight, and buy tickets ASAP. If you buy them after 10/22, adult entry costs $15 instead of $13 (and might be sold out).
Haunted Basement & Ghostly Sightings Tour
WHERE: Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum (295 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT)
WHEN: October 28 - 31, Noon - 4 PM
You’ve seen the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in the daytime, but you’ve never seen it like this! The Haunted Basement & Ghostly Sightings Tour is happening October 28 - 31, and the tour’s full of Victorian era ghosts and of course, a dark creepy dungeon to top off the evening. Stepping Stones Museum Monster Mash
WHERE: Stepping Stones Museum for Children (303 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT)
WHEN: October 31, 10 AM - 5 PM
COST: Free with museum admission, $3 material fee for select activities
We’ve covered events at the Stepping Stones Museum before, and we’re particularly excited about this Halloween happening! Bring costumed kiddos in to enjoy games, face painting, treasure hunts, Halloween themed crafts, and a storybook pumpkin contest (make beforehand--see details here).
Stew Leonard's Halloween Events
WHERE: Stew Leonard's Norwalk Store (100 Westport Avenue, Norwalk, CT)

Once again, Stew Leonards--the Disneyland of grocery stores--is hosting a plethora of Halloween Happenings at their Norwalk store. There’s a Hay Bale Theater with free juice and popcorn, a 15-minute family-friendly hayride, and a trick-or-treat with Stew Leonard’s Characters. On Halloween day, bring a kiddo in costume to receive a free small ice cream. See the full schedule here, and mark your calendar for these family-friendly events! Halloween Party for children at Calf Pasture Beach
WHERE: Calfe Mu Tiki Lounge (44 Calf Pasture Beach Road, Norwalk, CT)
WHEN: October 31, 1 - 4 PM
All kids wearing a costume to this event will get a free goodie bag with Halloween treats! Kids will enjoy decorating pumpkins, playing carnival games, and winning prizes at this Norwalk cafe. Oh, and adults get discounts on popcorn, ice cream, and coffee. Who says kids should get all the fun?
