Interestingly enough there’s pretty much something happening for everyone in this exhilarating theater. So if you love comedy, talent shows, concerts, famous fitness gurus and more, then you’ll really appreciate all of the interesting things happening in this exciting theater in the first part of 2018.

    The beauty of it all is that The Wall Street Theater in Norwalk made some amazing changes over the last year. In fact, the theater has sunk $10 million into renovating the entire place, so it’s no longer old and obsolete, but modern, attractive, and definitely the place to be this winter as we head into the spring.

    Remember, some events taking place in the beginning of 2018 aren’t going to be all that exciting to everyone. But there are also other events happening that may float your boat and tickle your fancy. So pay close attention to the schedule of events, pick the ones that resonate with you the most, and make it a point to check them out so you can have a joyous occasion to look forward to this winter and early spring. Plus, it’s a great way to get out of the blistering winds, cold weather, and severe snow.

    If you’re looking to have a couple of laughs on a cold Friday night in the winter in Norwalk, you’re in luck because Norwalk Comedy has teamed up with the Wall Street Theater to bring you an electrifying monthly show that kicks off on this date. The great thing about this comedy special is that there’ll be amazing comedians from the tri-state area on stage for your chuckling pleasure.

    For this particular show taking place on January 19, you’ll be graced with the comedic stylings of Leah Bonnema. She’s an exciting up-and-coming talent living in New York City. Huffington Post recently crowned her as their favorite female comedian. As far as female comics are concerned, College Candy has put her on the list of the top 10 funniest female comedians. So if you’re looking for a great night out and some remarkable humor, we highly recommend checking out this show.

    Connecticut’s Got Talent on January 26, 2018 at 7:30 PM

    For those of you who are in love with talent shows, Connecticut‘s Got Talent is going to be an event that you do not want to miss. This talent contest is statewide, meaning acts will come from all over Connecticut to perform their exciting gift for all to see.

    The best part about the contest is there are so many different types of talented people performing that there’s a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy. If you like comedians, you’ll appreciate this show because some of the top comedians will be performing that night. If you’re into music, some of the hottest local bands will be in attendance gracing you with their musical stylings. You’ll also get to enjoy the talents of top Connecticut dancers, singers, musicians, magicians, and other unique and thought-provoking specialty acts.

    Remember, this is a multi-show event that begins on January 26, 2018 at 7:30 PM. In fact, to see the entire competition, you’ll have to come to the Norwalk Wall Street Theater four times in total if you truly want to see every act performing. In fact, the main event doesn’t happen until four weeks later. On January26, you’ll see the opening-night audition acts that will be held for the next three weeks.

    Were you hoping to see a concert in your local community? Well, if you’re looking to appreciate the musical stylings of local musicians, then you’re definitely going to want to check out this event happening at the end of January.

    In fact, many people really enjoy the local music scene in their community and Norwalk certainly has one that is thriving. If you do decide to go to this event, just know you’ll get to see some of today’s hottest local musicians like The Doug Walberg Band, The Jason Gidder Band, and Tom the Suit Forst.

    Tae Bo Fitness Event on January 28, 2018 at 12 PM

    The exciting thing about this event taking place on January 28, 2018 at 12 PM is that Billy Blanks, the creator of Tae Bo, is actually going to be the host. So, if you love this type of workout and you’ve been doing it for years – or even if you happen to be brand-new – you’ll truly appreciate being able to perform these exciting exercises with the creator and former actor.

    If you’re completely new to this type of exercising and workout, you may need to take it slow because this is going to be a master class level event. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go and shouldn’t attend, just know that you may need to limit yourself because they are going to be moving fast, working out hard, and having a fantastic time too.

    The Werks Concert on February 8 at 7:30 PM

    If you appreciate music from the funk rock band known as The Werks, then you’ll definitely want to be in attendance on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at 7:30 PM in the Norwalk Wall Street Theater. The funk band has four highly acclaimed studio albums from which they will be performing some of their greatest hits.

    The opening act for this event is called Cabin Fever. They are a local Connecticut band that really seems to be taking the music scene by storm. So if you’re looking to delight in funk music and appreciate local Connecticut artists all at the same time, we highly recommend getting tickets to this popular event.
